Tonight, 10/30/2016, many Over the Horizon Radar Signals, OTHS, have been very active in the upper portion of the 6Mhz. band segment. This is quite unusual to find these here and with this amount of frequent activity.
Some Russian Amateurs making contacts on 40m under decent band conditions. This was recorded using my SDR PLAY RSP and SDR Console software v3 along with my OCF dipole. Plenty of activity was noted on 40m this night.

Many of you have been asking about the “Mystery” signal. Fear not, as it is alive and well and can be heard every night around midnight ET. You can find it lurking between 4700-4800 kHz. Here it is invading the frequency of a navigational beacon. I was using my SDR PLAY and SDR CONSOLE software with my OCF dipole.
